Today we are going to talk about Italian wolves! Italian wolves are also known as Apennine Wolf. The Italian wolf is found in Apennine Mountains, Italy. Their body size is 39-55 in length. It weighs around 53-88 pounds. Females are 10 percent smaller than males. Italian wolves mostly come in grey and brown. Italian wolves hunt at night. They eat small to medium sized animals such as roe deer, red deer, wild boar, elk, hares. They also eat plants, berries and herbs.  Italian wolves mate in March. A mother wolf can have 2-8 pups. It depends on how old she is.  Wolf pups weigh around 250-350 grams. In recent years Italian wolves have made their way to France.
